I thought it extremely crazy to hear Reverend Wright damning America in his sermon and was shocked to hear the crowd praising his words. I am a Southern Baptist and have also attended Methodist churches, Pentacostal churches and even Catholic church a time or two, and I can honestly say I have never heard any of those preachers/priests talk about anything but God's word and praying for our leaders and country. I have never been to a black church, but I have asked some of my friends, who are black, if their preachers ever preached about damning America and they said "no." But, their preachers have spoken about the "white man" trying to keep the "black man" down. I think we all need to look forward and work together, regardless of race. We are the melting pot, folks! I don't think there even needs to be a space to check your race on anything! We all need to be viewed equally and that means doing away with things of that nature.

How can I make myself stand out tomorrow?

I'm riding tomorrow and all the ponies that I ride are really slow and frisky and bite all the time which are about 14hh and theres one horse they put me on some times that way too big (about 17hh) and is so bumpy and I really struggle to stay on when I canter on him and my mum sees me ride every time and I'm not a nervous rider, I'm quite confident at it because I've ridden 7 years. My dad's coming to watch tomorrow too and I have to show him how much I've improved and that I'm not nervous at all anymore because I used to be kind of nervous because I fell off all the time and didn't like whipping them because the ponys that I ride buck when you whip them. But now I don't really care and the other week I whipped this pony that was going soooooooo slow and I needed to get her to go faster to get a good canter because we were jumping and she bucked her legs up soo high and I was 1 handed, and flew forwards but stayed on and just rode round like nothing ever happened and it resulted in my riding teacher having to tell me to slow down the slowest pony in the yard because I got her going so fast :) And I galloped along a beach in africa once. How can I make myself really confident at it tomorrow because if my dad sees how good I am with the ponies now my family's going to think about getting one in a few months... And we were hacking round the local village and there was a big horse infront of me that just kicked off every now and then and about 2 years ago I'd of been crying and shaking because I was scared that because the pony i ride was prone to bucking people off that Id get thrown but I just ignored it and pulled my pony away so she didnt get kicked and carried on riding. Am I really such a bad person?

Hello, in order for you to understand my situation I have to give you a little background info. I am married to an indian man who is the only son (I am indian as well). In our culture there is no such thing as a retirement fund. Our parents take care of us when we are little and it is the son and daughter in laws responsiability to take care of them when they are old. My inlaws do not have a house of their own so when my husband and I got married we moved into an apartment because there just wasn't enough room for all of us. My husband and I are planning on buying a house and my husband feels like he needs to ask them to come stay with us. My husband and my father in law are always ing heads so I already know it will be a bad situation if we were to all move in together. We enjoy living on our own and having our own privacy but I was willing to give all that up to have them come live with us. A few days ago my FiL said some mean things about me to my husband and really just turned me off all together. He didn't say it to my face but I was just as hurt as if he did say it to my face. My husband told my FiL that he needs to apologize to him but he has yet to do so. I doubt he ever will. This isn't the first time he had said something bad about me. He has said some mean things to my family members about me. After all this my husband is insisting we let them live with us due to our customs. I told my husband that I would rather stay in an apartment for the rest of my life then buy a house and have them come stay with us. What do you think I should do? Should I buy and have them come stay with us? Or should I pay rent and not have to deal with my inlaws drama? P.S. I dont have a problem with my mother in law. I live an hour outside of Chicago and I'm going to be a senior in high school. I'm starting to feel all the pressures of college and everything and I've heard Colorado is a beautiful, outdoorsy place, so I'm looking into Fort Lewis College in Durango (specifically, their art program). I've never lived in a different state, and the only reason I chose Colorado to look at is because my sister has visited friends in Durango, and it sounded appealing. Skin condition?

On my upper side of my left arm my skin has began to change colores. Id say Im a light tan, and these spots are much lighter. At first it was a small amont, but now its spreading down my arm. i own a marineland 350 cannister filter and a HOB 40 gal filter for extra filtration. and i switched to sand(playsand) subsrate from gravel in my 75 gallon tank and the water got extremely cloudy. i did a complete water change(only sand in tank so far) and still cloudy but def. not as much. Should i use the water polishing filter thing that comes with the filter to clear up the last of it or do more water changes and rinse the sand more. I want the sand to be clean when the fish stir it up and not get cloudy when they do it...TY

I have made Carmel Slices a few times now, and everytime I make it, the Carmel Filling never is firm, it always ends up goopy and runny. When I was in Australia I bought one at a bakery/coffee bar and the carmel filling was firm and was not thin and runny. Having done media relations for a large corporation I have some background in the reliability of print media. You can well imagine that what I would say wasn't always what was printed. Quite the contrary. For more recent dealings I have found that not only print media is faulty but often face to face contact with supposed subject matter experts can be faulty by way of error by omission. When that happened to me, first I had to figure out what it was that I was missing in terms of specific information and set about researching it on the Internet. As you might suspect I found valid information that I couldn't get from a medical professional. In this case a veterinarian. I know knew what was wrong with my dog and what to do for her. The vet failed to informed me she was a bloat candidate. The Internet defined it and told me the variety of things that I needed to do. When my own doctors are not forthcoming I do the same thing. I go to the Internet and selectively read what I need to learn. Yes, I'm picky about what sites I use and essing each one can be, for me at least, a bit tricky. I would absolutely love it someone could come up with some of those simple rules that you suggest to help not only our children but old folks like me as well.

What's Bulgaria like to live in for an English person?

I really don't know how it would be for an English person ( I'm Bulgarian) but we are nice people, especially nice to foreigners. Language may be a problem, though, personally, I know many people who speak fluent English. Also, Bulgaria doesn't have many extras, e.g. a lot of highways and stuff but it's a wonderful place for nature lovers. It's cheap to live there. Salaries vary, depending on the place you live in, but in general - low, compared to other EU countries. However, life is calm, time goes by slowly for most people. We enjoy ourselves. Bulgaria is totally loveable.

I am a 6 year enlistee and just past my 3 year mark and I am interested in doing bop, I dont want to reenlist but i was wondering if it is necessary to reenlist even though i still have 3 years of retainabbility for the air force. or could i get bop without reenlisting?

okay i was at a swim meet today, swimming our BIGGEST rivals, and i got to see this boy i really like.(hes on the other team). I have so many symptoms of it, it really started about 2 months later after having a flu like illness. I've had a CBC done, my sed rate checked, urine samples, stool samples, mri's, ct scans, an HIV test (negative), electrolytes, thyroid, and a panel for celiac disease. Everything has come back normal. Onetime my WBC count was a little elevated (10.9), I had a fatty tissue in my head, but it had disappeared later and my celaic AGA levels were a little high, not too much. But I heard AGA tests aren't even that reliable because they're wrong a lot of the time. I had the HIV test done 7 months after getting cut at a manicurist's and 3 months after one of my friend's drank out of my soda can's. I'm very paranoid about catching stuff. I even had an ANA screen done (antinuclear antibodies) to check for any presence of autoimmune diseases. I did get diagnosed with ehlers danlos syndrome (clical type) and I heard people with EDS can also develop FMS. So, is it possible to have fibromyalgia

My friend had his restaurant business (LLC) closed down yesterday by his landlord and forced out. He had bought it from someone (with proof of sale) who was originally on a lease for that space with the landlord. But apparently when he made the sale to my friend he was not on a lease with that landlord. My friend had been dealing only with this middle person and had not signed a lease directly with the landlord but had actually payed the rent for two months to this middle person. The landlord now has eased the property to some other third person and has this forced my friend out of property by force (with police) without any notification. What are the next steps of action he should take legally and who should he file a case against ? Eveything inside the building (including equipement and misc utensils and furniture were fully invested by him) and he needs help to get his investment back. Otherwise he will be broke. Please help.

Why is my horse so sore?

I have this horse on trial to buy her. She hadn't been ridden for a month or so, and after a week of riding her everyday, she is sore all over. Need to reformat my girlfriend's XP laptop from HP. Help Please.?

Hello everyone, I need to reformat my girlfriend's laptop. She had XP Home installed on an HP circa 2004, but there is no backup partition, and she can't find her install disc. I have OEM copies of XP Home for Dell, Gateway, and a few others - but not HP. I want to install a LEGAL copy of XP for her. Any ideas? Can I use a Dell OEM disk and use a key changer to change to the OEM serial on her laptop COA? Would that work, or would it still not activate right? If it pops up the prompt to call MSFT, I don’t care, as long as they will activate it. Any help getting around this problem would be appreciated. If you happen to have an FTP link for a HP, or general, OEM XP ISO I could use with her COA that would be awesome. Once again, I am looking for a LEGAL solution to this. I could easily install a BS version of XP Pro myself, but that is not an option for her line of work. I will definitely log the best answer.

How Can I Find Yellow Spotted Salamanders?

I live in Hamilton, Ontario. (1 hour from Toronto) There is an escarpment here where it is illegal to cut trees, etc. so it's almost completely untouched. There are a lot of hiking trails and me and my grandfather used to find Redback Salamanders up there all the time. I recently became interested in Yellow-Spotted Salamanders. I know they're a bit (Or a lot?) more elusive than Redbacks, but I do know they live in my area. The trails are all dirt, there are a lot of logs and twigs, leaves, it's very wet (There is a creek and a few little waterfalls), and a lot of stones. I'm wondering first of all, when I should go up there. We got what we ume is our final snow last week and it's almost all gone, however it's still pretty cool staying around 1 C. The 14 day trend today shows all temperatures above 0, so it is probably going to become nicer soon. When should I wait until before I go up there? And when I do, where should I look most? Under rocks? In/under logs? Near the creek or on the trail? And because they are a mole salamander, should I bring something to dig with? Thanks so much guys!

i have had blood vessels break for no reason, usually on the backs of my hands and tops of my feet, my entire life. it happens without hitting anything, i notice it when i feel the stinging. is this common? also over the past few years i feel i bruise easier than i used to and they last longer (i'm in my 30s). my latest concern it broken blood vessels in my eyes. has anyone else had this happen as they got older? btw, i don't drink, don't smoke, exercise regularly and eat nutritious food. thanks

When to take a pregnancy test... please help.?

Hi, Ok, the situation is this. I last had my period 2 months ago- I’m on the pill so I ran two packs together because otherwise I would have come on on Christmas day. For the last couple of days I’ve been getting quite a few pregnancy symptoms but I don’t know if I’m just panicking or if I could be pregnant cause I’ve not missed a pill or anything like that (symptoms are- slight cramps but no bleeding, bigger and kinda sore, feeling sick and queasy and a blocked nose- read somewhere this was a symptom). All the symptoms can be explained away by a series of other reasons though! And I know if you think you’re pregnant you can kinda imagine the symptoms and think they’re real. I’m not asking if I’m pregnant, what I am asking is – If I am due on next Thursday would a home pregnancy test today, or tomorrow morning, be accurate? Or would I be better off waiting till after Thursday to see if I get my period? And if I am is it possible to still get your period only it be lighter? Girl scouts and new years skits wont tell you anything. and you dont need an agent for a looooooooong time. you first need to build a resume with community acting. those skits do not count. After you get a few main parts. go to a proffesional theatre for non equity, and take whatever part u can get. after you get a few main parts, go to equity theatre. U can try some commercials at any time. dont try to get any headshots until you are told that you have some promising potential from someone besides your parents or girl scout leaders, like a director with a good resume. Be warned, this is not a proffesion that "normal" people go into. you will work with some strange, nutty, mean flighty etc. people. especially in community theatre. to be realistic, at your age you wont be on the "big screen" until your about 20 or older.

I THINK i read somewhere on the internet that there is some kind of an insert, (possibly made of sillicon) that I would put it on my foot and wear a sock to secure it, so I could have the same/similar support while I am at home. So I was walking my horse yesterday when he spooked out of no where. He bucked, and I lost a stirrup, and then he took off at a gallop. Needless to say, I fell off . However, I fell off right by a fence post, in fact, I think that's what knocked me off. My whole right side rammed into the post, and then I bounced off of it and face-planted. My face is scratched from the ground, but mostly my right side hurts. My whole shoulder feels like it's coming out of my socket, my back hurts, and I really think I might have bruised or even cracked a rib. So my question is what can I do to feel better. I'm 23 year old student. I am 5 foot 8 and weigh 17 stone. I am obese and realise this. Over the last few months I have lost 3 stone and have moved out of the morbidly obese category. Recently I went for a pre-employment medical for a student 1 year internship for an office based job. They tested my eyesight and hearing. They took a sample of my hair for drug testing. They also took my height, weight and blood pressure. I was shocked to see that my normal blood pressure which I had checked a couple of days before hand as 136/80, had risen dramatically to 160/94. I was extremely nervous at the time. My vision and hearing were good. But i am gutted by my rise in blood pressure and fear it has lost me the internship. Could I possibly p with such results? Keeping tadpoles? Is it really that simple? How many can i keep?

well... its a pond, dug into the ground, then the plastic pond fitted in. then cememented round the sides. it has no filtration system, and only a clump of java moss as a plant, but i have loads of large stones in it that have algae and plants that i am unsure about growing on them. the bottom is filled with smooth gravel. it is about 1.5m long, and about 80-90cm wide, and about 30-40cm deep. as you can see, this is just something i picked up at a garden pond centre. i just saw it lying there, it was only �20. i just though "hey... thats quite big for its price! iv got loads of garden space so i could use it for minnows and tadpoles!" as this is way to small for goldfish isnt it? i tend to give my goldfish at least 100 gallons of water each so they have no problems growing. anyway, back to the question, how many tadpoles can fit in this? i have no idea how many gallons it is and the measurements were just rough estimate. id say its around maybe 40 gallons? i could be totally wrong, it could be more. and yes, i will let the frogs leave and come back as they please. how many minnows should i get? i am very fond of tadpoles and minnows. maybe 10-20? the minnows i will get are called fathead minnows, they come in their thousands along the river next to my house. so taking a few wont do much damage. and before you ask, i have had this pond built in and treated water has been sitting in it for about 4 months now, iv been waiting for frogs and minnows to come. they should come in about a month. so there will be no water problems. also for the matter, is there any type of catfish/loach or algae eater i could get for my pond? i am very fond of them. I live in Scotland, so you can get a grasp of the temp. so no tropicals please.
