Questions regarding Emily inson's Wild Nights?

I completely understand the second stanza, since I use nautical words like, "rowing," "swimming," "floating" as metaphors for the ual act. Emily used the ocean many times in the same way. (I did not realize this until I came upon her poetry some years ago). There are few new concepts in terms of the emotions.
