What breed is my horse?

I have a gelding that Ive owned for approx 6mths.When I bought him I was told he was a warmblood (not registered) A couple months ago I found his upper lip tatooed.It is hard to read but from what I can tell has 4 numbers-no letters.Id like to know his history but it is too hard to make out his tattoo.I though maybe he is a appendix. He is 15.2.Shaped like qh but has the markings of a thoroughbred.He is a bay-2 white stockings-reddish mane and tail.He has a very smooth gait.He is a bit spooky.Any sugestions??
