Own marineland 350 can filt. changed 2 sand subst. cloudy H20,will the polish tool clear the water?

i own a marineland 350 cannister filter and a HOB 40 gal filter for extra filtration. and i switched to sand(playsand) subsrate from gravel in my 75 gallon tank and the water got extremely cloudy. i did a complete water change(only sand in tank so far) and still cloudy but def. not as much. Should i use the water polishing filter thing that comes with the filter to clear up the last of it or do more water changes and rinse the sand more. I want the sand to be clean when the fish stir it up and not get cloudy when they do it...TY
